(via Premier's dept 5.1.79). Belonged to the Estate of Sir William Walkley, who was (Mr. W.G. Walkley) the founder and Managing Director of AMPOL Exploration when oil was discovered at Rough Range, W.A. in 1953. -3- was sealed glass phials containing samples of crude oil from the discovery well - Rough Range - W.A.
