Clock in mulga wood surround. Trade mark on back:"(Crown) / MULGA / Australian Wood". Walter Terrell was a local artist, born in Boulder at the turn of the century, and lived at 30 Hopkin St. He lived alone after his mother's death in the 50 s until 1988. He played piano with local talents for musical evenings held in town. He also painted in watercolours and held classes at Boulder Town Hall from 1977 to 1988. Walter worked as a clerk at the Perseverance Store until his asthma caused him to retire on a pension in 1950 s. He left Boulder and moved to Woodlands in Perth in 1988.
