a) Off white, short sleeved shirt. Three blue buttons and press stud down front. Five white buttons at hem to attach to shorts. Collar trimmed with four rows of blue stitching. Sleeves banded with fabric matching shorts and self-tie which is stitched to left side, under collar and has a loop to go over white button on right side. Blue tie decorated with two guardsmen in red, blue, yellow, pink and black hand embroidery. Pocket in left shirt front. Label: "CESARINE / BRITISH & FADELESS / CAESAR (Head) FABRIC". b) Blue shorts with button holes along waistband to attach to shirt. Belt with silver coloured buckle. No label. Pocket in right hand side seam. Worn in photographs H92/0007 & H92/0008. Worn by John Leslie Matthews ( ca 1950-1990). His ancestors the McKenzie family, migrated to Albany in 1831 according to the solicitor.
