conical brown leather motorcycle helmet with ear flaps and chin strap with metal buckle, thick brown felt padding to inside, fitted with two copper metal bands and surmounted by spike feature with gold coloured metal stylised wings, front copper band engraved 'GOLDEN HELMET/Presented by WA Speedways Ltd/To/S. SCHLAM/For the greatest number of wins Season 1928-29' second copper band perpendicular to first band and up to top of helmet engraved with names of winners, date and recorded race time
