Small, rectangular, green print on off-white card, ‘MOTOR SPIRIT’, ration ticket. Scroll design at top reads ‘MOTOR/ SPRIRIT/ RATION/ TICKET/ COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA’. Commonwealth of Australia crest below scroll. Body of ticket, green geometric patterned design, with ‘1/ONE/ GALLON’ either side of ‘VALID/ ONLY UNTIL/ 31ST JAN./ 1948’ in centre. Reverse plain. Edges rough, appear to have been torn from larger coupon card.
