ROLLED OATS BAG, JOHN BULL

Calico bag printed in blue, yellow and red. In a central panel is the traditional figure of John Bull, holding a packet of oats. In panels on either side, a stalk of wheat. A banner at the top reads: 'JOHN BULL', another at the base: 'PREPARED/ ROLLED OATS'. Printed at the top: '5LBS. NET/ (WHEN PACKED)' and across the bottom: 'MANUFACTURED BY/ PARSONS BROS. & CO. PTY. LTD./ SYDNEY- MELBOURNE- BRISBANE- FREMANTLE'. Both sides are identical. There is a tassel of thick stitching cotton at one corner.
