Baggy, peaked, yellow, wool, 'Albion' cricket hat with button at top. Crown comprised of eight triangular pieces sewn together. Small piece of elastic in lining of edge of back segment. Black circle embroidered on front with image of swan with 'WACA' underneath and two horizontal white lines in background. 'SHEFFIELD SHIELD' embroidered underneath in black. Lined with black cotton(?) with white circular piece inside centre printed in blue with 'Albion/(shield) C&D' with three blue lines either side. 'AUSTRALIA/(02) 6988344' printed in blue with 'NAME:/TEL NO:' printed underneath'. 'ALFY LANGER/3837762' handwritten in black ink next to blue print. Blue triangle with red kangaroo holding Australian flag inside, with 'AUSTRALIAN MADE' printed underneath in blue, and '7⅛/58/7¼/59' printed under in red.
