Detailed explanatory letter from Director Hew Roberts to Mrs D Skele, advising application for position of Junior Assistant Trainee was not successful. Letter explains that he is embarrassed to tell her that they have appointed a young Lithuanian girl in financial difficulties. He advises her to improve her English speech through lessons and the theatre and that he has asked UWA to clarify her status. Cream letter enclosed in cream envelope with UWA crest, 5d stamp of Queen Elizabeth, postmarked Perth 'posted in pillars' and stamped with postal advert: 'IDEAL FOR / SMALL INVESTORS / BUY SPECIAL BONDS'.
[.9] LETTER, Royal Perth Hospital, 11 September 1962, with envelope .Letter from Jane? Griffith, Administrator, to Mrs D. Skele advising application for position of Librarian was not successful. Letter explains they received a number of applications from people who 'like yourself were well qualified and capable of carrying out the duties'. Thick cream paper enclosed in brown envelope stamped 'postage paid 0.5' and postmarked 'Perth 11 IX 63'. Blurred stamp 'First Commonwealth Paraplegic? games?, Perth 10-17 November 1962.'
