CABINET, display (containing THE GREAT WALK TREE CHARTER)

Tall timber and glass display cabinet used to exhibit a scroll entitled 'The Great Walk / Tree Charter'. The cabinet has a timber back, base and edges. The shape of the cabinet vaguely resembles the shape of a tree trunk, wider at the base and tapering at the top. It has a glass, front, sides and top and the back and base are lined in green velvet. Hinged rear opening with separate leg for cabinet door, bolt at base, cupboard locks at top. Attached with fishing line to the inside back of cabinet is the Charter, which is hand written on painted paper, taped to unpainted paper, and rolled on two jarrah scroll ends.
