Pastel crayon colour illustration of red cross nurse, mounted in cardboard edging with thin wooden frame. Frame painted gold. Nurse is wearing white veil, with red cross on headpiece, veil tinted blue. Signed in pencil "A. Miller/10/2/20". Reverse of frame has two metal hooks at opposite sides with a piece of wire threaded through them. Backing of frame is cardboard, attached to frame with metal nails. All nails are missing except those at the top edge. Paper label stuck to cardboard backing with blue letters. "DIMOND BROS. / Royal Art Gallery/ BAIRD's ARCADE,/Picture Framing,/Mount Cutters,/Plus Workers, etc./LARGEST ASSORTMENT OF PICTURE MOULDINGS IN THE STATE./ FACTORY: 26 SMITH ST., HIGHGATE HILL.".
