Small postcard. White background with illustration of a man with cartoonishly exaggerated black eye and lump on his bald head, clasping his forehead in one hand, and a boater straw hat in the other. Printed in blue at the bottom of the card is "AND I THOUGHT HER/HUSBAND WAS IN/FRANCE." Artist'sname written in brown within illustration, "REZ MAURICE". Back of postcard has usual instructions "STAMP HERE", "THIS SIDE FOR CORRESPONDENCE" etc. Printed along the side in small brown lettering "The Regent Publishing Co., Ltd., London, N.W./ (ALL BRITISH).". Card has not been written on. Purple pencil scrawl on back of card.
