Small metal badge, in the shape of a shield surmounted by a crown. Depicted on the enamelled face are three stylised figures of servicemen in a gold roundel, encircled by a blue ring with the words 'Returned Service League' printed in gold. Beneath the roundel is a stylised banner in red bearing the word 'Australia' in gold letters. The roundel and banner are set against a white background. On the reverse are two rings; attached to one are two linked safety pins. The reverse also bears the letters 'WB' in relief, followed by the impress '2917', and the words 'Property of League' and 'Sheridan Perth', in relief.
