PRINTING BLOCK, Fire Scale, wood, metal

Metal plate glued to wooden block. Metal plate design is that of a half circle divided into five equal sections (pie sections). Each equal section is inscribed with a different fire scale reading. The inscriptions are 'LOW/ MODERATE/ HIGH/ VERY HIGH/ EXTREME'. On the top of the wooden block in the right top hand corner in blue ink is written 'aRAT 30'.
On the top left hand corner in blue ink is written the initials 'BR'. Handwritten on length ways side of wooden block is 'BUSHFIRES BD' in blue ink.
