Five pieces of wood with a metal face, nailed in four places to base. Two eagles hold a four sectioned shield. In each of the sections is a lone heart, a symbol, a cross and the letters 'OSM'. Above this is a swan and a flowing banner of 'TRY WORK/COMMIT TO GOD'. Featured below the birds in another banner are the words 'PHILIPS HIGH SCHOOL'. 'ST. PHILIPS H/S' handwritten on base with red pen.
