Bookcase, with 2 hinged doors, which consist of glass in the top section and plywood in the lower quarter. Brass look handles are fitted to each door. Inside the bookcase, there are 5 plywood shelves, with the lowest section holding 2 drawers in one half. The drawers have steel handles. On the inside, left side, markings in white, show the bookcase layout - shelf 1 - 'A-G', shelf 2 'H-O', shelf 3 'P to W', shelf 4 - 'Non-Fiction'.
The bookcase contained a collection of books on women's issues and interests from the foundation of Women's Service Guild.
