Wooden cribbage board inscribed on upper surface in poker work 'CIVILIAN INTERNMENT CAMP STANLEY./ HONG KONG 21ST JAN. 1942 TO.' The sentence is completed in pencil '45 SEPT 48' (meaning undear). The board is driled to mid-depth with 126 symmetrically-arranged holes, divided into six groups with a line scored between each group. The upper surface has faint diagonal ridging which may be marks of manufacture. On the reverse of the board 24 names have been hand-written in pencil , in the form of signatures, with a line ruled beneath each name. In the top right corner is written 'Bk 2/13'. The names ar as follows: 'M. White/ Duis (?) Joyce/ Clara Fisher/ Phyllus Doolley/ R....Hillar (?)/ Sea...Crou..(?)/ Grace Ezra/ Hannah Ezra/ Ruby Ramsey/ Richie Raymond/ A. Raymond/....ness...seth/ Louise S..(?)/ Sybil M. Owens/ Florence Deacon/ R.M. C.....(?)/ C.M.F....oe (?)/ C.A. Hrash (?)/ Wil... J. Kemp/Cath Gray/ Connie Har....kett(?)/ June Br...(?)/ Rosie....dah(?)/ F...ken(?).'
