BOTTLE TOP - 'KORK & SEAL'
H1995.1271
Red bottle top with large white 'K' on it, on the side of K (in white area of K) in small black capitals, 'PRESS DOWN FIRMLY', and around bottle top curve 'KORK-N-SEAL' in large black capitals. The bottle top sides curl outward and into an unclosed 'U' shape being able to hold a metal band/wire which by way of a series of loops and curls pulled into to seal bottle. Underside of bottle top is gold coloured, while a red plastic cover backs the underside to seal bottle. The red plastic has one large circular raised seal, then a smaller circular ridge inside that. The sealing mechanism is also made of wire - a separate piece to the one encircling the cap. One curl of the cap occurs where the sealing mechanism goes, completing a full circle of turned part of cap.
