A square of white cotton. The narrow hem is printed with small, widely spaced red and blue diamonds. The handkerchief is plain except for a border of printed flags; Belgium, Imperial Russia, France, Serbia, repeated in this order. The flag of the United Kingdom is crossed with the White Ensign of the Royal Navy in each corner of the handkerchief.
