Lid embossed with Princess Mary's head in laurel wreath in centre, with "CHRISTMAS 1914" underneath. In corners top right to left (clockwise), circles for Japan, Russia, Montenegro, Serbia, France, and Belgium. These were distributed to British troops during the first World War as a present from Princess Mary.
