"E.P." Magic Lantern Projector - Made in Germany; navy blue painted body, gold features on feet & lens hole of projector : bears manufacturer's emblem of eagle's wing and "Standard E.P." Lens separated and very basic in design. Designed to work with petroleum-filled lamp and wick. See H87.200. Wooden box covered in blue cloth; lid bears instructions for use in German, French and English, with "E.P." emblem & Gregrundet 1866". Outside top of box bears faded gold lettering "The Standard / E.P. / Magic Lantern".
