BEER LABELS, 'EMU/EXPORT' 1953

[1-4] Four large rectangular (portrait) red, white and yellow, paper ‘EMU/ EXPORT LAGER’ labels. White background with a red border ‘EMU/ EXPORT LAGER’ is above a line drawing of the brewery. Below this is a semi-circle arch with ‘BREWED AND BOTTLED BY/ THE SWAN BREWERY CO. LTD.’ Inside a red circle is a drawing in profile of an emu, standing on one leg. On either side of the emu is ‘AT/ PERTH’ and ‘WEST/ AUSTRALIA’. Inside the thin red border along the bottom edge is ‘SANDS & MCDOUGALL PTY LTD PERTH’.
[5] Same as above bit with an fluid measurement of ’26 FL OZ’ beneath the emu, and without the ‘Sands & McDougall’ line. Also in slightly brighter colours. Has ‘1968’ written in black pen on the reverse.
