A silver sixpence. The obverse features a bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right with the lettering '+ELIZABETH·II·DEI·GRATIA·REGINA·F:D:' and the mintmark 'MG' incorporated into the base of the bust (hardly visibile). The reverse features the Australian Coat of Arms with 'SIXPENCE' above and the date below. Both sides feature a pearled face edge, the coin has a milled edge.
