Two copper 5 centimes coins. The design of these 2 coins is identical apart from their mintmarks. The obverse features a bust of Marianne (Personification of France) facing left and the lettering 'REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE·*'. The designer Mintmark signature 'DUPRÉ' is below the bust. The reverse features the Facial value and the date in the French Republican Calendar 'CINQ CENTIMES L'AN 8· ', surrounded with an oak wreath. The edge of the coin has visible marks (chevrons).
[.1] Mintmarks: 'Lady Archer', 'Helmet' and 'AA'.
[.2] Mintmarks: 'Lady Archer', 'Sheaf' and 'BB'. This coin has 2 indentations on the obverse of the coin, visible on the reverse.
