A cupronickel 1 franc coin with Dutch text. The obverse features a squatting woman surrounded with the inscription ' * BELGIE * '. The engraver mark for A. 'BONNETAIN' is to the left of the squatting figure. The reverse features a caduceus is surrounded with the facial value : 'GOED VOOR 1 F' (bond for 1 franc). The edge of the coin is reeded.
