Ectyoplasia tabula
Light orange or beige to brown. Erect often bi-lobed branches with rounded margins, with horizontal corrugations. Flexible, with firm basal stalk, oscules visible.
Morphology
Erect digitate branches, laterally flattened, with basal stalk. Distinctive horizontal corrugations usually present.
Behaviour
Sessile filter feeder.
Method of reproduction
Sexual with larvae.
Habitat
Marine
Apparently endemic to northwestern and northern Australia.
Distribution
Western and northern Australia from Exmouth Gulf to southern Kimberley.
