Spinifex slender bluetongue
Cyclodomorphus melanops melanops
This genus is closely related to the bluetongue lizards (genus Tiliqua), but have a more slender build. The species is widespread across arid zone Australia, but this subspecies, C. melanops melanops, is restricted to the Pilbara, Kimberley and central Australia.
