Very large thick-armed seastar, with pale pink, cream and brown mottled surface.

Morphology

Large fat seastar with a relatively small disc and five slightly tapering thick arms, the body is covered by thick skin, pink, cream to light brown in colour, sometimes all brown

Found on rock, algae and sponges, sometimes sand or mud, 15-150 metres depth.
