Mfr: Mre Impale de Chatt June 1861 = S.B. Model 1842 (in script on rear edge).
Marks: French armoury M773.
Scabbard: impressed 165 steel - 59cm.
Hilt: brass '60' in groove, '188' in recess, quillon recurved. Rifle socket 25mm diameter.
Blade: Yakotan type burnished.
