GLUE POT

Cast iron glue pot. Impressed on side 'PAT. APPd FOR'. Impressed on base: 'T & C CLARK & Co Ltd/ FIRST QUALITY/ ENGLAND/ ?'.
The outer pot which held water was placed on the stove. The inner pot containing the glue was placed in the water which stopped the glue overheating and hardening.
