Black "REMINGTON" and alongside, red star shape with slogan "To save time is to lengthen life" \ standard \ Remington \ Typewriter \ Trade Mark Reg \ U.S. Pat. Office." Model 12. Serial No. Z168078. `Made in Ilion, New York U.S.A' in 1922. This was followed by model `16' in 1932. Reference: W. Beeching Century of the Typewriter, page 152 - with black cover.
