'SIMPSON TEXTILE MACHINERY/ Pty Ltd/ TEXTILE, LAUNDRY & GENERAL/ ENGINE[E]RS/ Mch No M227, Type - / MELBOURNE - AUSTRALIA'. Laundry marking machine similar to T1982.45, but looks like an earlier model. Both very similar style, shape and method of selecting msrking number. Black hammer-tone finish.
