Scales with wooden box. Manufacturers label inside box: "W & T AVERY LIMITED \ ......\ BIRMINGHAM". On each of the two weighing dishes company coat of arms: "W & T AVERY \ TRADE MARK \ EST 1730 \ BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND". Complete with: 1 x 2 troy oz weight; 1 x 1 troy oz weight; 1 x 0.5 troy oz w; 1 x 3 dwts weight. Assorted hand-made lead weights. Probably used for gold assaying.
