Branded "942/WAGR". Presented to Geraldton Museum (Railway Section) the opening day 7.12.85. Originally used at Dalwallinu, a major station in th Northern District, for the weighing of parcels tendered for transport by the Westrail Passenger and Freighter Services between Perth and Mullewa, and Perth Meekatharra and Geraldton. They were originally calibrated in troy weights an converted to metric in 1975 (to be confirmed). Counter scales similar to this were used at all major stations prior to the introduction of clock face scales
