Dull, gold-coloured metal, obverse: "KOLONIALE / TENTOONSTELLING SEMARANG". In centre: cross-legged female figure on cushion< over "1914". Reverse: "AWARDED TO / WRIGHT & FENDICK / OF / PERTH / WESTERN AUSTRALIA / FOR / EXHIBIT OF YORK GUM NAVES / SEMARANG", Java. Case: Cream-coloured cardboard, red velvet lining. On front in gold letters: crown over "Koninklijke Lltrechtsche / Fabriek van Zilverwerken / van C.J. BEGEER / Hotteverancier / van Wijlen Z.M. den Koning, / H.M. de Koningin / H.M. de Koningen-Moeder, / Z.K.H. den Prins der Nederl. / Hertog van Meeklenberg / Utrecht Den Haag / Oudegracht 17. Korte Voorhout 6". Wright and Fendick listed in 1917 Post Office Directory as "General Woodturners, Mantelpiece Manufacturers, Cabin Makers &c.", their premises were at 157-167 James Street, Perth.
