CROWN COIN, Australia

A silver Crown (5 shillings) coin. The obverse features the bare bust of King George VI and the lettering 'GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP.' with the mintmark 'HP' uner the bust. The reverse features a Crown with the date underneath, and the lettering 'COMMONWEALTH :OF:AUSTRALIA · ONE CROWN ·' with the mintmark 'KG' under the crown.
