Two bronze half pennies. The obverse features an uncrowned bust of King George VI facing left and the lettering 'GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP.' with the mintmark 'HP' under the bust. The reverse features a Kangaroo leaping to the right with a federation star under it's head and the date under it's legs, with 'AUSTRALIA' at the top and 'HALF PENNY' at the bottom. The mintmark 'KG' is opposite the federation star. The coins have medal alignment.
