Key shaped enamel badge with raised gold gilt rim. Circular shape at left end represents the bow of the key. Textured gold gilt oval shape in centre of bow with black enamel border around oval shape with text '21st/ BIRTHDAY'. Rectangular shape with pointed edge representing the blade of the key to the right with green enamel background and text 'K.R.L.B.C.'. Red enamel rectangular shape with curved sides below green enamel with text reading '1983'. Reverse: gold gilt finish, double brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached, red enamel specks in circular section, two green enamel lines bleeding from left side.
