BUTTONS, brass, ‘universal’ pattern, New Zealand Army

Five large, six small, rounded, brass with raised secures at reverse, 1911 ‘universal’ pattern, New Zealand Army, buttons. Four, five-point, stars in centre of field, ‘NEW ZEALAND FORCES’ in raised lettering around outside field, with single line border either side of text. Maker’s name printed on reverse; ‘J.R. GAUNT & SON/ LONDON’. Part 5 has different maker; ‘LIMU WOODLEY Co/ (BIRMINGHAM)’. Brass tarnished, secures bent.
