WRESTLING BELT, light blue, 'Light Heavyweight Wrestling', George Samios, 1938

Light blue leather, green-suede-lined belt tapering from a broad front to buckle at back. An oval-shaped metal badge with a black enamel swan in the centre, is embossed: AMATEUR BOXING & WRESTLING ASSOCIATION OF WA' and engraved: 'Presented / by / COUNCIL / Won by / G. SAMIOS'. A metal unfurling ribbon below is inscribed 'Light Heavy Weight Wrestling Champion / 1938' . The badge is affixed to the belt by four metal attachments visible through the lining.
