WRESTLING BELT, dark blue, 'Heavyweight Wrestling Champion', George Samios, 1935

Dark blue leather, suede-lined belt tapering from a broad front to buckle at back. An oval-shaped metal badge with a black enamel swan in the centre, is embossed: AMATEUR BOXING & WRESTLING ASSOCIATION OF WA' and engraved: 'Presented / by / J. PRENDERGAST ESQ / Won by / G.M SAMIOS'. A metal unfurling ribbon below is inscribed 'Heavyweight Wrestling Champion / 1935' . The badge is affixed to the belt by three rings secured at back by a leather lace.
