Small cylindrical brass microscope on black steel stand in large rectangular wooden box. Box contains label (compressed cardboard laminate) ‘MICROSCOPE – THE FIRST EVER USED BY THE BREWERY’. White electrical tape is stuck inside roof of box ‘FIRST MIKE OWNED BY/ S.B.C.’ handwritten black pen.
Box has brackets inside to secure microscope in place and hold other attachments (now missing). Metal handle on top.
