Painting, acrylic on board in wooden lime washed frame with mat board backing, depicting a landscape scene with pine trees on the horizon, with a central 2cm deep square inset section with 4 brown painted wooden bars secured across it, inlaid with clear acrylic that has a printed image of two Aboriginal men. Painting signed on the back in black marking pen 'Tania Ferrier 2005 / "Penal/Pleasure / Island"'. White sticker on back, printed 'Stafford Studios 9 / 102 Forrest St, Cottesloe WA 6011 / Ph 08 9385 1399 / Tania Ferrier / Penal/Pleasure Island / 42 x 30cm Acrylic on board / $660'. Black and white label bottom right hand side of back has details of picture framers: 'BITCHES BREW / CUSTOM PICTURE FRAMERS / THE / PICTURE / FRAMERS / 64 HIGH ST / FREMANTLE / WA 6160 / Ph/Fax: 9430 5292 / Foundation Member / of the Picture Framers / Guild of W.A. Inc.'. White nylon cord attached across width of back, for hanging.
