48 page booklet, with front cover design by Norman Lindsay : winged allegorical figure of woman with cornucopia, the Melbourne Exhibition building and ships at sea are part of the design. The programme celebrates the opening of the First Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia by the Duke of Cornwall and York - 6 May to 17 May, 1901 at Melbourne. Events for each day are described with relevant photos and maps.
