Brooch made from tortoise shell and pearl shell with brass clip enclosure on reverse. The tortoise shell is shaped as a wing with a pearl shell strip and heart shape. This is attached to the tortoise shell with small nails . Engraved on the pearl shell: 'MOTHER'.
