Girls have long hair, dressed in white knee length dresses with knee-high socks and black mary-jane shoes. Mrs Swan is wearing long white dress. Photograph is mounted on brown cardboard. Studio name printed in white at bottom right corner of cardboard "Yeoman & Co./ 116 BOURKE ST./MELBOURNE". Message written in black ink on reverse of cardboard. "Taken/March/ 1913/ With best/ Wishes/ from girlies +/ Myself/ sincerely yours/ E. Swan."
