Metal printing plate, bearing elaborate emblem of Western Australian map and a swan in right top corner of emblem. Under emblem the inscription 'GEOLOGICAL SURVEY OF/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA'. Plants and lleaves are featured under swan and a map of Western Australia on the left hand side - possible minute names of places within the illustration of the state.
