Two part plaque, brown with gold lettering and border. Plaque commemorates the opening of WIRE by Brian Burke MLA. 'IN RECOGNITION OF THE IMPORTANCE THAT ACCESS/ TO INFORMATION PLAYS IN THE LIVES OF WOMEN./ THE WOMEN'S INFORMATION AND REFERRAL EXCHANGE./ IS DEDICATED TO ALL THE WOMEN OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA'.
The plaque lists the inaugural Women's Advisory Council Members, Womens Interest Division and the Public Works Department. The plaques are weighty, made of bronze.
