H1992.387
White cotton drill peaked cap with nylon mesh crown and an extension section at back to contain long hair. The original elastic in the back section has been replaced by yellow cotton stitching gathering the material into a pouch shape. Worn by workers at Arnott, Mills & Ware factory to prevent hair from contaminating food products. See H92.149 for factory history.
