Red plastic safety helmet with wide brim all around. A circular paper badge on front (in red and white) 'MEMBER/ FIRE BRIGADE' encircling a white cross. Marked on the inside of brim (cast integral) 'YEAR/ OF/ MANUFACTUR/ 1970', 'GUARD WEL/ A/ NU PLAC/ PRODUCT', 'CONFORMS/ TO/ A5 710/1967'. There are also 2 paper labels with safety instructions, both dated '26 MAR 1981'.
