Original photographs of four illuminated addresses by G. Oswald-Hawkins. All the addresses are decorated in a similar style. a - Written for the retirement of J.C. Fraser Esq. from the Kalgoorlie and Boulder District Volunteer Fire Brigades, and signed by 13 members. b - Written for the departure of Edward Arthur Esq. from the South Gippsland Gold Mine at Gindalbie, from the employees and residents of Gindalbie,(eight lines left blank for their signatures).Decorated with three photographs of the mine and mine-workers. c - Written for Alexander Porter Esq., on the eve of his departure to England to restore his wife to health, from the Lakeside and Gwalia employees of Kalgoorlie and Boulder. d - Presented to Mr Frank Hughes by the Council of the Municipality of Boulder, in recognition of his heroic act in rescuing a miner from a flooded shaft of the Westralia and East Extension Gold Mine, Bonnievale, WA.
